I already train for several hours each day, but as you'd expect not all of this is high intensity training. I am going to start a mixture of tabata sprints (30sec/10secx8) and (2min/1minx8) but I'm trying to work out the frequency. If I am already training as much as I am, is there a problem with doing these daily or twice daily? I will mix up the methods eg. sometimes run, othertimes bodyweight or shaddow

thats would be fine i guess, but dont you ever break for the year lol, i get a month off training now which is pretty good
and doesnt it piss you off training sp much when you dont have a fight planned, that would drive me nuts ever since i started fighting ive always found it hard to get motivated if i dont have a fight set up in the next month or so or at least a chance of one set up...like now i dont think i could go into the gym and train , knowing i dont have a fight for at least 2-3 months while we are having a break

My gym doesn't close! I am going away for a month though and during that time I'm going train for the same period of time daily, but focus more on conditioning and strength rather than boxing skills.
I can't stop training, I just can't. Maybe a day off once a month if that, but I enjoy it too much!
I started boxing with long term goals rather than short term ones (preparing for a fight), so if I take time off I'll just be going backwards lol.

This might help. It makes sense to mix it up to me because in a boxing round, of 3minutes, you can't predict what your work rate will be like. In 2/3min intervals you run/work consistently for that time, but in a fight you may have a series of 10/20sec bursts spread out over that time. I'm not a scientist, so I'm happy for correction, just thinking out loud really. It just makes sense to me to mix it up.
