    Acne

    ive been getting a lot of acne since ive been training like everyday. does anyone else here have acne? How can i get rid of it, cus its popping up on my chest, too? i had acne before i started training but it wasnt as bad as it is now its getting worse. Could it be because i've been training or working out hard because ive heard that training and putting pressure on your body can cause acne. What should i do?

        Its because you're sweating and possibly not washing yourself or properly... are you showering after training?

        if anything.. training should help improve achne not make worse.

          wash your face n body after you train,and don't forget to moisturize your skin, cuz dryer skin will produce more oil, more oil is more acne/pimples
          so just use some lotion after you shower,and you should be fine,thats all i do and i rarely get acne.

            i usto have a lot of pimples. its from the sweat. i still get a few pimples here and there but who doesnt. theres 4 things that will clear your pimples. drink a lot of water a day, don't eat any greasy food. grab some sun just for like 20 minutes twice a week its easy you can do it on your run. and heres the most important thing. no one knows but its a secert. go to a trader joes or ralphs. and get some sea salt not table salt sea salt. and like 4 times a week get a glass fill it up with hot water and put 3 table spoons of salt in it. then splash the salt water on your face and let it dry dont use a towel to dry it. leave it for like 2 hours then wash your face. i promise you it will clear up a lot.

              shower right after your workouts, not an hour after, right after..

                I never had achne but a amte of mine whi is a professional footballer who once played in Premiership said that you should try ****epathic stuff and use Clean and Clear face wash on seven times a day. Eat lots of fruit and veg too and lay off processed sugar and other crap. Junk food ****ed him up the pizza faced mother****er!

                    yo its funny this thread came up. ive been battling this for the past few months. I NEVER had serious acne problems before I went into hardcore trainig (6-7 days a week), but now its an issue. here has what has helped me.

                    Washing my face every morning right when i wake up. then i shave. i used to only shave every few days and wear some 5 oclock shadow, but now i shave every day. it helps. i use astringent too afterwards.

                    then i go to the boxing gym to work out. then at the gym, i wash my face sometimes too, depending on what i do. for example, when i spar, as soon as i take off the headgear, i go wash my face and use oxy pads to deal with the acne-inducing sweat/vasoline combo. that is usually the biggest culprit.

                    when i get home, i shower and use another astringent. my roommate has some of this in the cabinet and i've been ******* it lately and it works amazingly well: im gonna have to get some of my own!!!

                    i make sure to wash my face before i go to bed too. this training-induced acne is annoying, but im finally getting it under wraps. good luck!
