my knee trouble i need help

      Cause sometimes I dont always eat fish all the time throughout the week...for $10 180 capsules...I get enough DHA/EPA.. along with the omegas.

      I split my fishoil pills throughout the day...taking 2 with each meal. I eat 5-6 meals per day.

          Why would I do that for? I'm looking down on your punctuation (or lack thereof) and grammar though. You must be from the ******ed teenybopper SMS generation!

          Before you think of quitting like Shawn suggests, try the glucosamine tablets out. Also, eat some lamb trotters in a stew. That is good for your joints too. I diet that contains alot of seafood will also help you recover from injuries faster than usual.

            you sound like a ****? you ever blew a guy off in the restroom before julio? also what in the hell are lamb trotters? and i never planned on quitting i was just gonna take a break. and will icing after a workout help my knee any?

              Lamb trotters are the meat from a lambs foot. They are juicy and tasty too, but need to be cooked for 17 hours or something like that. They contain all the nutrients and trace elements which soft tissue such as cartilidge is made of. A nutritionist told me about this, and said tribal people all over the world have it.

              Ice after a run can help disperse excess liquid build up in your knee. I read this in some fitness ****zine and the physio confirmed it. I buy them sports ice packs that you just put in freezer to save hassle of constantly making cubes. 5-10 minutes is enough. An ice bath will do the same thing plus more.

              Another good tip that I got from my physio is to wear the Skins. She said this even before I have my ACL replacement(they graft new ligament from peice of hamstring) done. So anyone who thinks it is just for hamstring tears or other muscle injuries is mistaken. Stretch your legs alot as well. You need to do these two things because less tense and better conditioned muscles keep pressure off the joints. I saw 100% improvement in my knee after I did stretches 2-3 times a day. keep your muscles supple and they will free up your knee giving it time to grow back. Get well soon (****).

                  Stop fantasizing you gay lord and try to stay serious.

                  It is not red meat, it is more like jelly and it is delicious. Too right it is much better than that dog, she looks like a fish and was a skank in her old movies. My motto is once a dog, always a dog (unless you want to **** make up bottles).


                  My physio said she does not liek braces as they inhibit what the other muscles should be doing in order to compensate for the stability. A Forrest Gump brace will not only stop other muscles from growing in ot their new role, but will also prevent the new nerve message pathways from forming.

                  You do not stretch the knee!! Lol. read the previous post again. you stretch all the muscles in the leg as keeping them supple and well conditioned reduced tension which can give extra pressure to the knee. Tight muscles cause more strain and give you less freedom of movement in general anyway. Stretch every muscle in your leg 3-4 times a day: hamstring, quads, groin & calves. The hamstring is very important as are the groin muscles. I stretch them 2 mother****ers after every running or training session with Therabands, just like B-Hop! Another physio before my knee injury recommended hamstring stretch for sore lower back pain too. It worked for both problems.

                  My physio gives me the middle six to work on, and I do the other exercises everyday too such as this:


                  You can do this one sideways, backwards and facing forward to work all muscles. If you do not have a wobble mat at home, or do not go physio daily then tie the bands to a bedpost and do them just on the floor. Wobblemats do not cost much and is one of the best physio tools ever for knees and such.

                    p.s. Also try to see a specialist experienced sports physio who will give you such tips and more! They can test your knee better. Normal physios & even specialists don't really care for sports performance and will be happy to get you back to walking! That's why they say dumb things like don't do this anymore, or don't do that. They simply cannot give the care for everyone as they are oversubscribed so say such things to weed out the bums! Persistance will get you the care you need, but you may have to shell out a few coppers too. If it was true that you had to quit like a bum like Shawn who suggested such a thing, then the entire Premiership would have quit by now from joint&limb injuries!!! They are common in sports and recovery is tough but very doeable if you are determined.

                      If you are having severe pain you could ask your doctor about an injection of corticsteroids or hyaluronan directly into the knee. It is a temporary solution (a couple of months I think) but you may want to ask anyway.

                      Also I agree with whoever said that doctors are happy to see a person up and walking, it is not their work to improve a person's performance, see a physio for that.
