    Drinking through a straw!

Ok, my brother has just broken his jaw, and is (hopefully) coming out of hospital tomorrow.

I was wondering if anyone can reccomend some shakes/drinks I can make up for him or buy from the shops which will give him the nutrients he's going to need.

He won't be on solids for 2-4 weeks, so what can I give him so that he doesn't miss out too much, and end up looking like something Bob Geldof would throw a concert for....?

just think of the liquid forms of food groups...

soup - made with meat, vegies and grains - blend it if you can, or drain the lumpy bits

      milk, drinking yogurt, custard

      fruit and vegetable juices

      protein shakes

      shakes with raw egg

      just get creative
