Try drinking milk and honey before you go to sleep.
Personally, I kinda like waking up in the middle of the night a few times because this way, I don't fall into deep REM sleep, and I don't feel as sleepy when I first wake up in the morning. Maybe its not really good, but its been working for me thus far.
Maybe its also because you aren't very tired when you go to sleep.

I had the same thing that started this year. For me, it was my general lifestyle. I'm fixing it up and I feel great now, but still improving. To help improve sleep and recovery I supplemented with ZMA about an hour before bed. My sleep has improved and is getting better. Today I got my first 8-hour sleep in a LOOOONNNGG time. There are also other supplements out there I might try, but haven't tried yet.

Nothing to worry about this happens in your teens, it's just the hormones being pumped through your body that wakes you up...part of puberty lads!

organic milk releases a naturally occuring chemical when warmed up which knocks you out. 7 hours sleep is more than enough. I find psyllium husk makes you refreshed when you wake up and more energised in general which therefore makes your sleep pattern more regular.
