I said spar, not fight.
There are plenty of things you can do at your gym the day after you get your bell rung. There's no need to spar heavy two days in a row
And Second Impact Syndrome LINK WILL kill you dead.
Unless you go to a doctor and have a full neurological workup, it's hard to know whether or not your next-day headache is benign. Most of the time it's probably just a muscle strain. The other times it's a concussion, and mild concussions are more common than you think. (I used to hand out concussions like some people hand out sticks of gum.) Who wants that chance? If you had a mild concussion the night before, and you get another one, YOU CAN DIE.
