Some fresh dogs (trainers/runners for those who dont get my lingo, suggestions, Nike high top Kareem Abdul-Jabbar air slammers)
Head band (thin, not thick, thin is fresh, thick is wack)
a gold chain with the word CHAMP
A sports bag with an olympics logo

already have on your fingerless martial arts gloves (to give yourself some boxing cred)
and a three colour custom mouthguard

Next spray yourself to look like you have just run 10kms. and come running in the gym, (late, not early, if they start at 7pm come in at 7.20pm for example)

First thing is to salute the coach, make it look like you go way back, something like this

dont look at anyone, remember, its like first day in the can. Look at someone wrong and ya might later get a surprise in the ring.

REMEMBER your martial arts training, impress by deep breathing, relaxing and concentrate your chi, to release extra ordinary explosive punches (if ya have those collapsable pine boards bring em in and get the most experienced boxer to hold it while you demonstrate your punching power)

Practice an 8 punch combo eg straight right, straight right, left uppercut, left hook, straight left, spinning back fist ( REMEMBER your martial arts) right hook, right uppercut and execute it, only this, and to impress with your cardio, do burpees between combos.

Make an excuse to leave early, get ya mate to call ya and say out loud something like ¨If Hopkins wants a shot a me I want 2 mill buckeroonies, one wont cut the cheese?
Hire a limmo to come pick you up.
and a couple of huge security guards dressed in cammo,
        you might need them...
        LOL!!!
        ..that was a refreshing laugh.
        green k for you amigo.

Cheers for the advice guys, i gotta say, even though i am in good shape being a natural athelete, i was acheing for a good 2 days after going, especially, above my left ribs, (i think because i was working on the jab for most of the night)

I introduced myself to the coaches, and a few of others training, but really got talking to a mixed martial artist, who specialises in kick boxing, but does boxing training to have an edge on other kickboxers, and he was giving me a few tips. I also did 15minute pad work with a trainer, and he must have slapped me a good 15times or so because i kept dropping my right hand but i will be working on that mostly, and working behind the jab when i go and whilst i shadow box at home.

20minute warm up was tireing, then 1hour and a half doing pad work, skipping, bag work and also hitting a dummy of an upper body, and then finished with a 10 minute warm down, then jogged home, which is about 3 kilometres, was very tiring but i was doing far better then 2 other guys starting out, who both must be a good 20-25 pounds heavier then me. I am a walking weight of about 73kg/150pounds ish

Does Anyone on this thread know any good dvds for trainers?

My brother's becoming a trainer and he's looking for tips etc.
Any good DVD's that anyone has seen, that would be good for someone that's about to start training amateurs?
