    Heavy Bag

Alright, I'm lookin to get a new Heavy Bag for my home workouts, I was just
curious if anyone has any recommendations as far as specific brands or models and there attributes weather it be, duration, quality, filler, ect, if you could just give me a quick run-down I would appreciate it.

Also I'm curious what size of bags you other flighters work with on the downside of 150, (I'm 130), and what weather you focus on speed or strength. Thanks gang.

I would just reccomend a nice solid everlast bag, or perhaps a waterfilled bag, it's really a personal preference thing, my gym has 150 lb bags that I like alot, but others may not. I would reccomend going to some sporting goods stores or friends houses just to get a feel for your own preference. But once you get a feel for size I can tell you that alot of companies like everlast, title, ringside, grant and alot more make good quality bags.

The heavier the bag, the more power you develope. (Rocky Marciano used a 300 pound bag)

The lighter the bag, the more speed you develope. (Bruce Lee used a 70 pound bag)

I'm debating on 70 or 100 pounds, at my old Gym I usually switched off the two, but I no longer attend.

idk I like the soft filled bags to be honest, but thats just me. I work on both but I prefer the soft fill, or "foam" bags as their sometimes called.

I have an everlast 75 lbs on a stand, I want at least 100 or more but unfortunately it can not support that much. So I would not recommend a stand.
