I don't go to a gym or out but just started working some hook and jab pads with me brother for some exercise and cause we feel hard.
Anyway I think I know how to jab but when I land on the bad it's really awkard and it don't connect with the knuckle if that makes sense.
I think the problem might be my old kick boxing mitts which are pretty thin and useless and are straight not curved.
Or
My bro holds the pads at an awkward angle
or
My technique.
I'm convinced it's the first two though lol.
