    Yeah i got the isopure cookies n cream zero carb version and it doesnt taste that good.

      NO no no no no..... Protein DOES NOT get stored as fat at all it doesn't even get stored if you eat excess protein you will just waste it away, thats why there is no use in eating a meal with excessive protein on it and then not eating protein the rest of the day.
      Carbs are the ones that get stored and transform into fat when not burnt.

      this is really the basic of the basic in nutrition its the whole thing that made Atkins so famous.

          Don't mean to sound negative, but thats the dumbest thing I've read. Do you even understand how your body responds to taking that much in 3 days. Not only that but your wasting your money if u actually think that protein is going to build muscle. Your pissing away your $. Your doing your body more harm than good and besides, protein powders are trash.

            i agree and disagree to some extent.. you need protein to build muscle, but i think people go fanatic when it comes to it.. like the 1 lb per bodyweight.. i never believed in that stuff..

            i do think that whey protein, is a usuful suppliment.. just whey.. not all the muscle milk stuff... cytogain.. all that, i dont agree with.. but like i said, 5 lbs in 3 days is ALOTTT..

            5 lbs lasts me like 2 months.. i have like 1 or 2 shakes a day when i workout..

              Me neither. I believe those recommended does on these protein supplement powders are designed to bring in more $ than its supposed to. If you follow it as it recommends you'll run out quicker and yet not get the results you were expecting.

                Muscle Milk and Whey are two different things that should both be used, but in different ways. Muscle Milk has CASEIN protein, not WHEY protein. Casein is a slow digesting protein that will feed your body for longer than whey. Think of whey as simple sugars and Muscle Milk/Casein as complex. I dont mean that in a bad way towards Whey either, they both have their uses.

                Whey is great for pre and post workout becuase it is quick digesting, like simple sugars. Muscle Milk/Casein is better used as a meal. If you cant get some chicken and rice, then Muscle Milk is the next best option. Not all of us can afford to eat chicken or steak 5 times a day, so muscle milk is a cheap alternative.

                Another thing i see talked about a lot is all of the saturated fat in Muscle Milk. Look at the back of the lable and you will see the saturated fat is listed at MCTs(marginal chain triglycerides). MCTs are burned in the same way as complex carbs. They are not stored as fat as long as you dont down a muscle milk right before you go to bed. Dont let the bodybuilders at the local GNC scare you away due to the fat content, the MCTs/saturated fat will burn away as carbs.

                And dont forget, we ALL need fat in our diets. The Isopure stuff is great, but you need to add your carbs to it. Dont drink it with just water or it is basically a Atkins drink, and Google can tell you exactly why Atkins is no good.
                And buddy, save yourself the $70 and dont down two muscle milk containers in a weekend.

                  I have a fairly good understanding of the metabolic process, as well as digestibility of various proteins......i am eating this **** because it tastes good and i like it....
