    im new to boxing

    hey im 15 and dont know much if anything about boxing or mixed martial arts. i would like to start but i am not sure what to do to start training. anyone have any ideas?

    We need more info, what shape your in...What sports you already do etc.

      ok i weigh about 150 and i am 5foot 8inches im not in that great of shape right now and i play football in the fall

        Alright, i would say that (not trying to be a smartass) get to a gym ASAP.

        Until then, work on things like weights. Do low weight high rep. dont go overboard or you'll slow yourself down.

        Do running for stamina as well.

        For now i would say dont try any boxing, as you will likly fall into bad habbits. And wait till all the clever guys get here they can give you lots more, like diets and stuff.

          I would't lift weights often, it makes you slower. But anyways don't intensively workout every day, drink alot of water, Gree nTea will help you burn some cals. You need a diet plan, and excersize plan so the smartest thing to do is go to the gym.

            Boxing gym buddy, boxing gym. Learn the right way. And if you think the gym is going about it wrong, they probably are so find somewhere else. You can always go back.

              yeah im 15 and started recently
              if your shapes not that good, start doing some CV, running, skipping
              dont try and teach yourself to box until you learn basics and then you can shadow at home
