Fighting without coach

Do you have to have a coach an gym to fight in a match and if i do need a coach does anyone know of one close to jackson ,michigan ive been looking all day an cant seem to find one anywhere ????? thanks for your help

look up in the yellow pages for a gym with a coach or on the internet, u'll find something

ok ive fond a couple but they are about 30-40 min away nothing close.

You can fight "unattached".

You have to be carefull with just finding a "coach" for this game.
Too many idiots that have done nothing in the sport, meaning no experience running around saying they can teach you to fight. And the funny thing is that you new guys dont know the difference. Please somebody tell me how somebody who never fought can teach somebody to fight. You might aswell buy a book because those guys never learned from experience, which is the best teacher. Find somebody real and they will make you real if you really want it. ..............Rockin'

Get Joe Frazier's book Box Like The Pros. It will give you a good introduction to the world of boxing and training. It will also give you some guidelines on how to evaluate boxing coaches and gyms. Remember, there is no substitute for good coaching.
