    New member, introduction and question

Hi everybody i am new in the forums so let me give your a little introduction of myself.
I am from mexico obviously my name is david, i am a middleweight and have had just one fight as an amateur which i won (hell yeah) haha , but i have a tournament coming on May, been training for almost 2 years , i am 100% an infighter since i am kind of short for my weightclass but i am strong, and i plan to turn pro in about 6 months, i know i didint have any amateur career but thats just the way it is in mexico, because amateur fighters just dont get exposure doesnt matter how good you are, plus my style is not really good for the amateurs.

So here is my question i just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone, a few days ago i had the honor to have a sparring session of 4 rounds against the mexican national champion of the light middleweight class (pro), it was a good spar i didnt fell down at least hahaha if you wanna know who he is his name is michael medina and he works out in the same gym as i do.

Well the thing is i got hit with the hardest right straight i have seen hahaha directly in the nose, ( we were using the kind of head gear that doesnt protect nose or chin ), it didnt stunt me but it hurt like hell, i been hit before in the nose but not like that.
And since then everytime i touch my nose or move it it cracks hahaha sounds bad, do you think its just a small injury that will heal with a few days or should i check it if it keeps cracking and hurting.

Thanks guys, and its pleasure tu be a part of these forums, anything just ask.

Oh yeah i was a competitive bodybuilder for a few years and i am a nutritonal sciences student so i know a few things about nutriton and strenght training hahaha but just a few i am not that good of a student.

    Keep up the great work

Welcome. Cant say I've ever had that kind of problem with my nose. Sounds like you should get it checked by a doctor. Probably broken if its making a crunching sound.

My nose was broken about 16 years ago. I didn't go to a doctor and it healed - but the bone fused at a squint. As Sven said, maybe see a doctor if you're worried. In fact, definitely see one. When my nose healed I wasn't a boxer so didn't really worry about it but if I was an amateur boxer I would have got it sorted.
