I think you are hitting the bag so fast, your fists are breaking the speed of sound! Hence the hearing delay! haha.

You hit heavy. Hope you do well mate.

try workin some head movement, bobbing and such. bend the knees and work in more combos to the body as well. Also, that bag setup kind of sucks since it's against a wall and you can't move around the bag freely, I like when they hang from the ceiling etc

            Cheers bro!

When you say bend the knees, do you mean for me to be a bit lower in my stance. I only ask because my knees are actually bent.

            Cheers

oh sorry, I mean when you throw in some body combos, try dropping lower (bending the knees) and dropping your head in/down so your head isn't so high and exposed I guess. also you can work the bobbing from this low position to throw looping hooks and return to that high stance you like

Your form looked terrific, your punches were crisp, you brought them back pretty quickly, and you threw in combination without "pushing" the second and occasional third punches out. Those are all good things!!

Where you may need some fine tuning is with your jab. You got it out and back quickly, but when you brought it back you had occasion to bring it back just a tad low. Concentrate on bringing it back up a little higher and it will become habit in no time.

You punched from whrere your hands rested from time to time, this is good when your hands are up, but when your hands are not up to your chin / face this is not so good (:30 and :35 seconds into the video where I first saw that). Don't force the issue and raise your hands before you punch (that's a tell you don't want) but concentrate on keeping your hands just a touch higher, protect that chin.

You appear to have very, very good movement to your left and you even appeared to throw a good looking move-plant-hook at about the 1:20 mark. While we can't see your feet you appear to glide and sweep to your left with great balance and your upper body looked stable without being tense. That's a mark of solid preparation and sound fundamentals.

When you moved to your right, however, your upper body looked slightly more rigid and your movment didn't appear as fluid and the way your body moved it appeared a few times you may have crossed your feet. Since we can't see your feet there's no way to know for sure "how" you moved, but the body language that's visible says when your going to move right and when you're going to stop. I realize given the limited space you have it can be difficult but it's because your left side movement appeared so natural that the right side movement may appear as though you were using more effort.

Another good thing is that you didn't "size-up" the bag. You punched from different ranges nearly every time you let the punches go and that is TERRIFIC!!! You moved around and you didn't stand still for more than enough time to throw your punches, this is also terrific.

When you were throwing the one-two you had a couple interesting quirks with the right hand. A few times you appeared to lean over to your left as though you were adding leverage on the right, if this is something you are doing deliberately remember to keep your left hand up as you don't want to dip into an oncoming blow.

More good stuff!; along with not punching at the same range you didn't have the same tilt on your head more than a few times on varying combinations. While this isn't the normal consideration for head movement if you continue to give different looks and a different angle on your head you will be in much better position to roll with punches, just remember to keep your chin as close to your chest / into your body as possible.

In all you look very good, a few minor adjustments (only based off what is visible of course) and you should have no problem with your debut. Not too many first bout fighters are going to have one year of preparation under their belt. Good luck!

Thanks for the in depth feedback bro! Most appreciated! The coaches are really please with my advancement in handspeed. I was so slow and tense when I first started. I'll try and get an up to date sparring vid on here sometime soon!
