    Get Your Head Moving!

At the club me and my friend started just standing 1 on 1 (Moving aobut like your fighting) and one would throw punches fo 2 minutes and the other just had to dodge and move the head etc then we swapped. Is this OK for improving dodging skills?

Also, the main point of this thread is to ask any ideas for improving dodging. Got 1 idea from someone to put string one side of the room to the other and move your head each side of the string. Any other ideas.

      Gooooood.

Any other ideas though? I might install a hook in my bedroom ceiling tie some string to it and tie something like a juggline ball or something on the end, swing it and do that thing like tyson does. A maize bag is it?

Well i just got that idea. Cheap too!

Buy a couple dozen baseballs....get your friend to stand 20 feet away, and biff them at eachother as had as ya's can.....first one down loses.....thats how we roll son!

spar each other, that is the best way to learn I would say. standing stationary is not a very good simulation

You can also use a Maise Bag or slipping bag it's fullof sand and they work pretty good Mike Tyson used them in his training

Maizeball or slipball is a good thing but try and slip faster , use a smaller slipball,..i use a little speedbag ball and filled it with sand , works very well.
And also,...double end ball, hit it once or twice and practice slipping the ball when it comes towards you!
