    new training

    im just getting over a very bad sprained ankle and i havent run or boxed for a couple of months and need to get back to running would any of you do running after a bad ankle if so how far would you run? and how would you do it(short bursts or pace)?

    one thing you have to be careful with, after a hurt ankle, is that you don't train on it too hard so it heals back the right way. if you don't let it heal, your ankle could not heal all the way and you might not ever be able to run the way you were. if you are going to train on it, use an ankle brace. only train for awhile. stop training when it begins to get sore

        well i have a good exercise to exercise your ankle get a football and roll your foot and ankle around the ball for about 10 mins it will build strenght back up in it.
