OMFG How could this happen

    Let this be very clear: If you weighed 167 before training, and 162 aftr training, then from the second you were done training to the point where you weighed yourself at 177 YOU have taken in (at least) 15 lbs of matter, be it liquids or food! If you've eaten that much, you should know this in the back of your head, because that is an extreme amount of ANYTHING going into your body in a short time. So the point is: If you're trying to lose weight, don't over eat/drink like a moron.

      I had about a gallon and a half of water on that same day that I ran and the day after I weighed myself first thing in the morning and i was 177

          That's like 6 liters of water!! that's a ridiculous amount of water to be drinking, especially if you expect to see short term results on the scale.

          Besides, that is still about 3 lbs. too little for you to gain 15 lbs., and drinking that much in such a short time means that a lot of it will run straight through, which means that not all 6 liters (12 lbs.) will be in your body the next day. So basically you've been eating at least 3-5 lbs of food as well. And you expect to lose weight???

          It's pretty clear that you either have no clue what you're doing, or you just don't have the discipline to pull it off. How could you even think that drinking 6 liters would be a good idea, if you expect to have lost weight the next day?

          What is your actual goal? Immediate weight loss for a fight tomorrow, or do you just want to lose weight in general?

              well yesterday I went in the weigh office at the fitness gym and they said I have 25% body fat and that something like 58% or 58 pounds is water.

                I met my target weight of 75kg for my fight which is on the 1st of Feb a few days ago. To celebrate i ate loads, pleased that i could stop dietting.

                Then i weighed myself on monday and i'm 77kg . To many chocolate spread sanwiches.

                  Do you want help losing weight or not? Then tell me what your weight loss goals are. Immediate for a fight, or long term?

                  If you're 25% BF, that means you're overweight. If 58% of your body is water, and that equates to 58 pounds, that means two things:

                  1. you weigh a total of 100 lbs, since 58% of 100lbs is 58lbs.

                  If that is true, I seriously doubt you've got 25% bodyfat. That would mean you're like 4 feet tall!

                  2. You're in serious trouble! The body is normally 70% water, and even an aberration of 5% would be unhealthy.

                  Dude, you are very confused right now, and most of the info you've been posting in this thread does not add up... Get a grip!

                    1 - you have to weight yourself at the same time each day

                    2 - why would you go to the trouble of wearing a sauna suit to lose water weight, then go and drink a gallon of water afterwards.

                    I dont understand this. You use a sauna suit to make weight.

                      ok, first of all, how often do you weigh yourself? i think it is possible that when you weighed in at 167, you could have been somewhat lower than your normal weight. otherwise, it does not make that much sense for you to shoot up 15 pounds in a day unless you were eating everything in site fat boy (lol j/k on the fat boy part.) anyway, 25% bodyfat? umm, aren't you that one black kid posts up his sparring videos? if so, i do not think you are close to 25% and i can guarantee that they did not measure you with calipers. they used some bull**** electrical impedence test, am i right? of course i'm right.

                      anyway, stop looking at weight figures. you are a young guy right. you are still growing, so do not pay attention to the scales, rather pay attention to your eating habits and refine them if necessary.
