What would be more of a setup punch to you? A hard jab,or a fast jab in your face.

Im just curious to see opinions. When I jab ppl hard in the face it pops there heads back.Now I could set a right behind that also,but a fast jab they would have to react fast too because its also a distraction.Like a bug in your face.

i like the fast jab the best. i never throw one jab its always 2 or more. i was always taught NEVER to jus throw one jab...

a hard jab as fast as you can but its best to mix it up

Fast jab while moving, I don't want to put too much weight into it and compromise my distance.

I also like to hit them hard with a jab that way they feel it and expect it next time.Mentally,if you have a strong enough jab,they will cover up and they will be open to the body. It can also discourage them to throw with you,and to stay outside if they see your jab is strong as ****.Just the jab.

a hard jab is better because then they know u pack a punch if your jab is hurting them...

now that I am reading this thread, I think I tend to paw with the jab putting almost no force behind it. Think I better work on that...

I don't think you can pick one over the other. Sometimes one works, sometimes the other. Doing one exclusively will make it so much easier for your opponent to figure you out, and punish you.
Mixing them up is by far superior.
