    Was this a good workout?

    Alright,
I woke up today and did not eat breakfast. 10:15am is around the time I woke up. I went on here to boxingscene and then after like half an hour, I went to go to my backroom and box. This room has no air vents, so it's great to sweat.

    I did this boxing routine:

Freestyle(Punch the living **** out of it with combos, etc) for a minute straight

    one minute rest

Work on lead jab then hard straight right for a minute straight

    one minute rest

Run/jog in place for a minute straight

Work on right hook for 30 seconds then quickly switch to left hook for 30 seconds. minute total.

    one minute rest

Run/jog in place for a minute straight

Work on right uppercut for 30 seconds then quickly switch to left uppercut for 30 seconds. minute total.

    one minute rest

Run/jog in place for a minute straight

repeat until 30 mins or so. time was goin by fast so i dunno exactly how long I was doing it.

I was ****ing tired when I stopped, heart was pumpin hard. signs of bad stamina . hell, I was tired in the middle of it, but my heart(no pun intended) and determination kept me going.

I got down and did 3 pushups on my fists.

I got up and picked up two weight blocks(the one u put on machines in the back or w/e) and I had one in each hand and lifted them up for a minute straight, got 16 down in that time.

I put on a long sleeve shirt, and a thick sweater and basketball shorts and mowed the lawn with it on in 95 degree weather. My front yard is pretty big for a front yard and my back is even bigger. Had a lot to do while my heart is still pumpin hard from me being exhausted or just really tired from the ****ing workout.

I did the mowing for about 30 mins.

I went inside and just fell on the floor...so exhausted...sweaters and ****, soaked with sweat.

I took a hot shower then towards the end for a few seconds I put on cold, then I put it back on hot and finished the shower. About a 10-13 minute shower.

I watched tv for an hour, but towards the end of the hour, like 1:20pm(it's 1:46pm right now as I type this sentence) I made 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches and I monitored my intake.

    2 PB and J sandwhiches:

    4 slices of bread = 8g Protein = 4g sugar
    4 teaspoons of PB = 2g protein = 6g sugar
    2 tbspoons of jelly = 24g sugar
    total protein: 10g
    total sugar: 34g
    Total Calories: 760
    Total Calories from fat: 560

Any good for it being my first meal of the day...?

How good was my workout? I plan on doing 200 crunches later tonight on my bed. I also plan on doing 5 sets of 5 pushups later on tonight.

I will continue to monitor my calorie, protein, etc intake.

I read that 30-60g of protein a day is good....and that getting the correct amount of calories for your weight is good also. any truth?

My goal: to weigh 155-160lbs and be fit and in shape.

I plan on using weight gainer powder to help me which you can discuss in my other thread on that.

PS: Oh, I'm drinking water too lol. Not gonna drink soda anymore.

Yeah, I've always heard breakfast gives you more energy. What do you recommend for breakfast? I am assuming hash browns, cheese omelet and bread are out of the question?

So you think this was a good workout to start? Maybe because I didn't eat breakfast, I got tired so quick...?

          hahaha.

The training regime is a bit crap buddy. You can't mow the lawn with your coat on and call it a boxers workout. The best part of the regime is when you admit that you got to your stomach and pumped out 3 push ups.

And whats with the minute exercise and the minute rest, no rhyme or reason for that.

I actualy meant to post a really long post before but the site ****ed up but. Find a gym and a trainer because this is horrible. Your just going to pick up bad habbits which could take forever to undoo.

Your diet is absolute ****. Im assuming you want to gain weight since you want weight gain powder. So why the **** are you skipping breakfast. What you should do is wake up go for a run come home eat breakfast, chill for a bit, say hi to the neighbours have a light snack then do your workout(not the one posted above) and then after eat your neck meal. Whoever told you 30-60g of protein is good enough is not going far in life if they plan on being a nutritionist. You should aim for 1g of protein per pound you weigh.. Try to be eating lean meats such as chicken and fish and aim for around 2700-3000 calories a day.

            Invest in a skipping rope.

Why the hell would u put on all those clothes to mow the lawn. If its that hot out take your shirt off and get a ****in tan. Its not beneficial to you to be burning all that water weight if your not trying to cut for a fight. Because your just going to gain it back once you drink your water.

Also wtf is with 5 sets of 5 for pushups. Your doing a body weight exercise not lifting heavy with weights. If your new to the fitness world im sorry if thats the most you can do but set your goals higher in terms of push ups are meant for muscle endurance

This was the first day I started this type of workout, normally I do pushups, and lift some weights. My diet always consisted or rice and beans, steak, pork chops, hot pockets, spaghetti, eggs, mcdonalds and all that ****.

I don't have money for gym equipment or membership and I also am not trying to be a pro boxer right now, just working out tryna get my cardio up and body more in shape.

I was exhausted, that is why I couldn't do much pushups when I got down. when I do them later tonight, I will be able to do more.

5 sets of 5 pushups is bad? That is 25.

I can't do 25 straight so I do 5 and then get up for a few seconds, then try them again. I keep doing it like that.

I'm not able to just do 25 straight, that just won't ever happen. I try but I can't.

Maybe it's my breathing technique, when should I breathe in and out during pushups?

Apparently you guys didn't read my other thread where I mention the fact that I can eat a restaurant out and not gain a pound.

Meats and all the **** I eat do nothing but give me stomach fat(which is partly my fault for not doing crunches on a regular basis)

Should I just drop this workout I started today and just do more pushups, do 200 crunches daily and lift the weights I got here? With or without weight gainer powder, what do you suggest?

From the amount you've taken into consideration from the other posts i'd suggest suicide.

5x5 for push ups isnt bad its just pathetic. Try doing 3 sets of 10 and work your way from there. Go till failure and the next time try and get more.

I saw your other post about restaurants but then i also saw your "diet" you posted in this thread. If your not gaining weight your not eating enough its not rocket science. Eat every 3 hours, eat big.

                    At the bold:
Stop being so damn rude, not every one is built like Tyson right away so relax. I'll be able to do it as long as I keep trying, damn.

You still aren't answering my question. If I eat big, then it'll all go to my stomach and create a belly. Will 200 crunches daily along with your suggestion of 3 sets of 10 pushups, do anything to prevent the food turning into stomach fat?

How long before I see results(from the smallest amount of results)?
