Everybody is doing it.. so ill post a vid

just for ****s and giggles gentleman, not trying to prove anything here cept that i figured out how to use my camera phone and email myself the vid... plus i only had 15 seconds and a ***** of a pulled quad muscle.

if there is any demand i might post up a "87 consecutive behind the back power bombs" vid later this week...

just a little background... im 25, been training for 3 months now, havent had an amateur fight as ive decided im gonna get lasic before i start competitive fighting.. im 6'3 and 185..

at the very least you can get a sorry ass look at the best fight predictor on the site

    anyhow here it is...

Not bad. I noticed when you throw a jab your right arm drifts down, try to sort this out as if you fight, your opponent will counter you with left hooks all the way.
    Props for posting vid.

GOOD power and pretty quick..but your hands are pretty low..never loose your stance..when you throw that right, let your shoulder block your chin and back in to stance..when you throw that left, let your shoulder block your chin and back in to stance..good stuff dawg

ehhh, i keep em up a little, but this was more of my mortal combat finishing move...

i was a little apprehensive about posting this the way some people get flamed so thanks for taking it easy on me guys.

i did however take a look at some of the other pathetic heavybag videos people post up on youtube and i guess i shouldnt worry

Hitman is a top fight predictor, I'll give you that. You look fit but you need to make it absolutely instinctive to not drop your hands. It's one thing to say 'I usually keep them up', but if it's even possible to drop a hand low then you need to work on that.

oh i know its a problem cause i get hit too much when sparring, i left with a black eye the first three times cause id leave my left low and get countered over the top.. so its something im aware of.. i just made the video mostly to see if i was keeping good distance, balance and throwing straight shots.

do u know of any particular training methods geared towards breaking the habit

I'm not qualified to train anyone, so don't take my advice to heart. But in my mind it's just practice. I'm being honest when I say I can't throw a jab, not even at the miirror, and bring my hand low. I can't do it because I ingrained it in me as a kid to bring it right back in front of my face. I'd guess maybe you should try just jabbing the bag, like throw 100 or 200 jabes focusing on your hand and shoulder after you snap it. If you just throw combination you have too many things to think about.

But like I said take Punch Drunk's advice, whatever he'll tell you, and NOT mine.
