What's good is, the initial pissed-offedness you'll feel from quitting -- everyone I know who has quit has been a total **** for about a month -- is something you'll be able to work off at the gym. You can do it.

I used patches to quit. Don't buy the name brand stuff, it's way too expensive. I quit using the "Wallgreens Brand" patches and it cost me less than I spent on cigs per week. 1 Carton = 1 week of smoking = $40. 1 box of patches = 1 week of niccotine = $20.

Just remember to reward youself every couple of days with something..be it a material object, food, whatever. It will help.

Really with the patches it's not that hard. The hardest part is stepping down from 21 to 14 to 7 but the time spent in between isn't that bad at all.

Edit: You will be a raging ball of fury for the next month and you will gain weight. I would advise training harder to off-set this. I can promise you that you will feel 10x better after a few months of quitting. I'm finally getting to the point to where I feel like I have all the "tar" out of my lungs when I run and I haven't smoked in about a year.
