    young and new at boxing!

Hello people, i jus started being interested in boxing and i am
extremely dedicated to this sport! And i do believe i have what it takes!
My dad promised me that he'd find me a gym this summer, so i could go there
and train and hopefully become really good! But for now, i got a heavy bag
a skip rope and weights for shadow boxing, i also use a "pickaxe" and start
smashing a tire! i Also do 100 crunches (on and off) 20 push ups, squats
and i lfit weights (10 Lb only)

I do that every day, and in complete i spend training in my house 1.5 to 3hrs
a day! I also started waking up in the morning at 5:30 and started running
then of course i also have school!

    Age: 14
Weight: 112 (yup i'm pretty light)
    Reach: 21

I also eat pretty healthy, i drink milk,V8. i eat raw bracolli, apples, bananas
raw carrots, and cheese! So what do u think? Am, i ready? I'm planning on being a boxer in the future, no matter what it would take! i believe i could do it, and all of u can also! I'm planning on doing this everyday, even after finding a gym!

That was a lot to type Lol

No need to be so rude mate.

And to the thread creator; "everyone has a plan until they get hit". Just see how you go when you enter that gym. Don't go in there thinking you're already a world champ because the odds are that you wont like boxing. A lot of people quit after the first session because of the physical and mental toughness that's required to box.

And Exige, I have the same problem as you. And I lose focus too easily sometimes

Ya your right, i've never been to a gym yet, so i wouldnt know much.
Getting hit on the head, makes me a bit cautious, cuz u do lose a lil to much
brain cells, and i have school also, but schools pretty easy.

Me and my fridns used to fight a lot, with boxing gloves (dangerous and ******) and he got me pretty good, and hit me rite on the jaw, i got stunned
but i handled it pretty good! he was 6"0 also. and i was 5"5. and he weighed 30 pounds more.

Everyone dreams on becoming a professional boxer, and i "think" i have what
it takes, but i wouldnt know if i've never expierence anything yet, i apoligise if i bragged, cuz i was letting ppl know what i'm doing.

I'm a clever kid and I box. Exige is clever and he boxes. Don't be worried about losing intelligence by boxing. You're not gonna get punchdrunk by fighting in the amateurs and sparring (which is all you can do while you're in school).

You'll see that when you go to your gym, all that unorganised street brawling means ****, no matter who you have fought. Fighting in controlled circumstances against trained guys is real tough, tougher than anything I've ever done. But it's also a lot of fun!

You're right to dream. In my opinion, there's no point in doing things if you don't wanna become the best. You might aswell just give up straight away. You'll find out soon enough if you have what it takes

And I didn't think you were bragging

                    Thanks

Yeh it's natural to be scared of the unexpected. Boxing is a whole new world compared to any other sports you'll have played. It's also completel;y different to what you would expect it to be like.

Remember though, go in with the mentality of a winner but don't act too coky. You'll improve faster if you believe in yourself, if you believe you can make it to the top. Because you will push yourself that little bit further.

I started boxing because I had watched it for a while. I'd seen some Muhammad Ali fights, some Lennox Lewis fights and of course the Rocky films and I just wanted to be a fighter. I found a gym last year and haven't looked back since.

I'm hooked to the adrenaline you get when you fight. That's what makes me go back for more. And yes, I also do it to one day become famous and become a pro. I'd love to be a huge star.
