your the one that got the facesaver instead of the tyguns right?? I used the Title Platinum full face headgear and the padding doesnt seem to have much give, and it kept moving. The inside which was brown is now a maroon becuase of the blood but thats my fault i guess.

That headgear better be approved, or your gonna be pretty salty that you spent 100 on a headgear that you cant even use in a tournament

The best headgear for actual fights are the Green Hill helmets by far. They don't offer much protection, but they stick to your head like they're glued on, they don't weight a lot or make your head a big target, and they don't impede on your field of vision. They're the ones you see used in international tournaments and at the Olympics these days.

At my Gym, all the boxers have a red and a blue one each, provided by the club. If they want to use them for sparring as well, or get something more padded on their own is up to them.

alright since the everlast facesaver disapointed me because of its bulky size and it being huge(which will make me easier to hit). Im goona send it back and look for a diffrent one. does anyone have any experience with reyes headgears?what about grant? please help me out

You might want to check up on the return policy of headgears from where u ordered... cuz some places dont return headgears once its been plopped on ya head, cuz they cant resell it

              Id look into that

alright guys i sent back the everlast facesaver because it was too bulky and too big shape and look wise not fitting wise! so i need a new headguard and if its a facesaver headguard I need it to be not too bulky and big in shape.here are the ones im looking at
                  reyes facesaver
                  reyes classic headgear
                  grant pro headgear

do you really need a headgear of those brands? (if you got the money, go ahead)

i've heard the reyes facesaver, the face-bar is made of steel, and is heavy.

the reyes and grant normal headgear are of mexican-style design, i think. which is also the same design as the fightgear mexican-style, and titan mexican-style (synthetic leather).

when it comes to face-saver headgears, it's common to see pros using the Winning facesaver during sparring.

                    (the FG-5000 model)
