    White Collar Boxing

I know some of you guys are pretty serious about this AND pretty young, but I was wondering if any of you 30 something guys out there have checked out any of these "White Collar Boxing" tourneys. I know Gleason's does them etc. Three 2 minute rounds etc. Apprently they are catching on because they are a good moneymaker for a gym.

Also, a couple of years a go I had Lasik eye surgery. Are you allowed to compete after having Lasik. I am getting conflicting reports.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I am 31, I looked into "White Collar Boxing", but we don't have anything like that running in Australia.

I was looking at some friendly matches nothing seroius, but none in Australia

White Collar Boxing is no more. You have to register as a Master Amateur Boxer with USA Boxing. Age 35 and up are permitted to register. Gleasons has a monthly show featuring sanctioned 3-2min. round Master bouts. For Master boxer info go to CLICK MASTER LINK

^^^^^ That is what passes for "White Collar Boxing" in my town. There are a few 30-40 somethings in my gym, and there is a boxing gym over on the shiny side of town that caters specifically to the white collar crowd.
