    Using Wrestling shoes for boxing?

Im kinda lookin for some new gym shoes cause my current pairs are wearin out. I used wrestling shoes before and I remember they were alot stiffer than a boxing shoe, there was also less padding at the bottom which made my feet hurt. Recently I got another pair of wrestling shoes and they are working ok. I stumbled across these bad boys here

and Im thinking of getting them, but first I wanna know what the major differance between wrestling and boxing shoes are. I boxing shoes are normally meant for ankle support, quick pivots and lightweight foot speed. What are wrestling shoes designed for?

wrestling shoes and boxing shoes are pretty similar. Whatever you feel comfortable in. Competitive wrestling floors and the floors of boxing rings are quite similar, which is why you can probably get away with wrestling shoes.

My understanding is, a flat-soled shoe without any gel impact or cushioning heel is what's important. Some guys in my gym use wrestling shoes, some use boxing shoes, and some use Converse All-Stars. I used All-Stars for the first 6 months or so, and I don't see a major difference between them and the Everlast boxing shoes that I wear now.

                yeh
but my nike ones are wrestling shoes
even though they have them in title
u can buy them at models in the wrestling
                section

i gave them to this kid at my old gym because
he aint have any boxing shoes and i had plenty
                but they were tight.

the ascis are really cool light
its jsut after moving alot on my feet
they start to hurt on the arch
jumping rope or burpies anything that have me constantly
                bending my foot in them

that was until i got the gel soles
