4 or 5 months ago i was getting ready to go home from work, i had been out in the rain all day and was soaked through, i was walking home and i noticed the building where we store all the quads etc hadnt been locked up, it was just me and my boss left and i cudnt expect my boss to lock it (who ever opens it locks its our rule, but who ever had opened it had ****ed of home) i was in a piss bad mood and this just set me of on one, i punched a cardboard box, i didnt know it had metal inside it and i hit it hard, my hand was aching, right in between the knuckle of my pinky and my wrist, it was sore for a good week or 2 and didnt seem to bother me much, it hurts every know and again when i hit the bags and ive noticed when i left college and was shaking all my mates hands it was ****ing sore, as soon as theres any pressure on my pinky knuck or the bones back to the wrist it hurts, today this guy came to my work from my college to see how i was getting on, and when he shook my hand i could of screamed, anyone know what i could of done to my hand?

Same exact thing happened to me. This was more recent though. I hit the wall, and after that its been aching like a *****. like I cant hit the bag hard anymore, no good combos, and when one of my friends shook my hand it hurt really badly,on the side of my hand close to the pinky. The knuckle is hardly visible anymore, its like sore as hell, I might see the doctor this week, and if so ill try helping you out to see whats wrong. Put some Vaseline on it, that always helps. -

damn I should stop punching **** unless it's meant to be punched (punch bags, opponent, wife etc..) no more punchin walls n **** I don't want to end up w/ ****ed up hands like u guys.Comment

Holy Hell I have the same problem on my right hand right to the side of my pinky knuckle. A guy shook my hand yesterday and could have yelled too. Then I was hitting the bag last night and was cringing in pain.Comment

i think im going to the doctors tomorow anyways cos i cut one of my knuckles on my other had right down to the bone, and it aint healed properly, i think theres glass under it and it looks like its poisonus, so ill get him to have a look at my other hand aswell and let you guys know the score

**** I was laughing but hurting so bad. The president of the company came in and I was talking to him and he shook my hand and the such a firm grip. I felt like screaming "Let go of my hand mother****er"!!!!!!Comment

I screwed my back up in early November and was out of the gym for six weeks, so I guess it healed up OK. At the time, there was no bruising, no discoloration, no swelling; it just hurt like hell when I'd shake hands or when someone would block a bodyshot with their elbow and it would catch the back of my hand. Come to think of it, it felt like a broken bone. Could have been a hairline fracture.
