Im guessing bobbing is the going up and down bit, where the weaving is side to side. A slip is just moving out the way of a punch, and Im not sure if it includes a counter
Bobbing is vertical head movement, weaving is lateral. Slipping combines a bit of a bob and a weave with a forward motion. Whenever you slip a punch you should throw a punch simultaneously otherwise the referee might interpret the movement as an attempted headbutt. (Don't laugh, I have actually seen boxers warned about it!) Most often the slip is deployed against the jab. So when Nickolai Valuev throws a jab at you, slip to your left and throw the overhand right at the same time. If you get it wrong and delay the overhand right, it will give Valuev the chance to knock you out as he did Otis Tisdale.
You will notice that Tisdale knows what he needs to do to fight a bigger man, but he lacks the skill to be able to do it.
