THE NEXT big DRAW for BOXING????? And the SINKERS of the next generation????

With Gatti, Vargas, DLH, and even Mayweather, all having only 1 or 2 more fights under their belt, whos next for boxing???

I truly believed that Jermain Taylor would be the next big thing in boxing, and after his thrilling performance against Winky Wright, i still thought it was gonna be true. BUt with only 2 years left in his career, and maybe 4 more fights, He probably wont get much bigger then he is now.

I believe any of the following 5 could be the next Big draws for boxing, and with all them coming up fast, boxings future may not be as dark as some see it:

    DRAWS

(+)JOHN DUDDY- May never be the top guy at middleweight, but hes got plenty of time to improve. But besides that, this guy is as entertaining as they get. All action, all heart, and all hunger.

(+) Peter Manfredo Jr. - I saw something in the kid when he fought last on ESPN, and a saw a much more complete fighter then I had seen before. A much more exciting fighter that will go for broke if he needs to. Not only could he be a threat in the division soon, i think hes a very entertaining draw, and he has a quickly increasing fanbase.

(+) Jason Litzoa - Again, lots to improve but lots of time to do it. Im looking very forward to the kids HBO debut, which could set forward another great career. The next Gatt? i think so. He's got the charm, the fan appeal, and the very entertaining style.

(+) Carlos Quintana - I'm not sure what you guys thought of his win over Joel Julio, but I saw a guy thats going places. Hes got that style, hes a boxer sure, but hes very entertaining and he almost floats around the ring. And his awkward style and wierd jab make him all the more interesting

(+) Anthony Direll - Andre Direll (??? it starts with an A i think. im blanking), his brother, May be the more complete fighter, But Anthony is a lot more relaxed, and goes about his business in a more entertaining style. If either fighter becomes a big draw in the sport, i would pick Anthony and day.

And Maybe Mathew Hatton? I have only seen him fight once, but it was a clinch free slugfest that entertained everyone in attendance. I dont know how old he is or anything, but maybe...

    SINKERS

Idk of any prospects that i would call "boring" yet, because most of them have been winning by KO every time out, but time will tell. Any suggestions

Its gotta be Duddy because he has ethnic appeal if you know what i mean. Otherwise, it would have to be someone so incredibly talented at heavyweight that people HAVE to watch him.

I'm also looking at Duddy. I think he'll be a Gatti type of draw: he'll have a strong ethnic-rooted fan base to which can be added a good number of others who shall be lured by his style. If strong rivalry/rivalries can be developed for him and some fighter/s, that surely cannot hurt.

I also like Litzau. But, I think we shall hear of him to be at his best somewhere at Jr. Light or Light where he can really prove his mettle in the next three years. He'll have to conquer big names to become truly a marque player.

Jason Litzao is gonna be a big draw in the future. So far all his fights I've seen are very exciting. He's got KO power and a few defensive holes which is a good combination when looking for an exciting fighter.

                The man himself-John Duddy.

A big draw and still young enough.I think he still has a wee bit to learn but it will happen.

Much as I'd like you to add Matthew Hatton to the list - Iam affraid its a stretch - he just isn't his elder brother - Matthew has alot of heart but limited ability - he won't ever be in world title contention - a European belt might also be wishful thinking
