HAHAHA i just woke up and see Holyfield beat Oquendo! THE SAME DAY THIS FIGHT WAS FIRST MENTIONED AS POSSIBLE like 3 days after Holy's last fight I said Holyfield could win. So many people said I was sick and crazy, but come on, Fres couldn't hurt a fly and Holyfield can be active enough to beat him. Apparently he whooped Oquendo's ass, which is more than I expected, but good for Holyfield. Told you Oquendo sucks big ones.

Living legend Evander Holyfield dropped Fres Oquendo with the very first punch of their 12 rounder at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, Friday night. However, Holyfield couldn't close the show and had to take his record to 40-8-2 (26KOs) via a points decision.
After the explosive start, Holyfield struggled to pull the trigger on his punches, while Oquendo, who at 33 is 11 years younger than the former world champion, seemed a little intimidated.
In fact, Oquendo made a big production of a borderline low blow in the sixth, which Holyfield took as a sign that the Big O wanted out. Holyfield again went for the stoppage, and did look good in spurts, but all too often the fight was a dull stalemate.
However, whenever exchanges were fired, they were always initiated by Evander, who won on a too-close scoreline of 116-111 and 114-113 twice.
