i think tony's crazy to pass on this fight, it's a very winnable fight for him and most likely ends in exciting KO fashion. televise on non-PPV and get some exposure. The fans would eat it up.

I think because Williams does have a good following so early in his career and great tv expose and with margarito fighting in december, when they do fight i think it will be a big fight.

This isn't any different from all the people that were hyping up Cintron, and where are they now?

It's also funny when Margarito was in talks about having a fight with Clottey, ;than spread rumors about fighting Rivera, and everyone was quick to say Margarito was ducking Clottey....Margarito is never gonna get credit, even if he beats Floyd.

Margarito is running scared of Williams, he will not fight him.

What's funny is seeing rabbid Mexicans standing up for what's obvious ducking.

There is nothing either of you two can say that makes sense as to why Tony didn't want this fight for December.

I have nothing against Margarito, but there's every reason he should have taken this fight in place of fighting Clottey, and he had no interest.

Like Goosen said, it's a joke for him to call himself avoided when he's currently avoiding himself.

It's pretty damn sad that fighting a prospect like Clottey, who has fought a bunch of ****ing nobodies in the last 5 years, is considered a step up for Margarito....

What is it with you and some other posters, that always make it a race issue?

When a Floyd fan talks about Floyd and were argueing do i say somthing dumb like, "its always the Black fans that stand up for the obiouvious ducking"

Its not a Mexican thing, you root for your fighters, i root for mine. Get race out of your head.

As for the Williams issue i would like Williams to offer Margarito millions to fight him this december ,then if Margarito doesn't break off that Clottey deal i'll say he's ducking Williams.

Williams is a step back for Margarito but he'll have to beat him just like he beat Cintron.

Clottey has fought better comp then Williams.

And Clottey is past prospect and is a contender.
