Haney is the real champ and has the real belt, even if he didn't beat Loma rules are rules and Haney got Loma's belt and Loma was given a newly created 'franchise belt' - as a sly way of marketing Loma vs Teo for ALL 4 BELTS (when in fact it was for 3 of the 4 belts, the WBC belt being the 'Franchise' version.
Teo is the man, and Haney has claim to be 2nd as he has a legit belt (regardless of how he attained it).
What he should do is abuse all the power he has as the current WBC champ and instead he should trash the 'franchise' crap they pulled.
Anyway I would like to see Haney vs Kingry next, and Teo's next two fights should be the winner of Taylor/Ramirez (for all 4 belts at 140) and then he should come back and face the winner of Haney/Kingry for all 4 belts at 135.

If you've ever been homeless or in a town where you feel like an outsider and people try and make you feel lesser, the most satisfying feeling is bathing in their disdain and smiling, nothing makes them madder.
Haney has the belt, and that is so important in boxing as it gives you power and leverage. Plenty of guys in boxing that have been champion level but takes them years to get a shot at a belt.
* If Haney gave up his belt Kingry would be promoted to super champion? Then they can make Teo vs Kingry for all 4 belts, both young and undefeated Americans. Lots of money in that fight and Haney doesn't have the pull that Kingry does, WBC would be celebrating.

Teo is no doubt the real champ. What would you say if he was to retire from boxing? Is beating Loma a guarantee that he goes into the Hall of Fame?
If he moves up to 140 and gets beat by Taylor or someone else, how would you view him then?
My point is, Teo beat the man at 135 so why not fight Haney and Garcia and destroy them and then move up.
Those two fights will bring Teo the $10 Million pay days he’s looking for and pretty much cement his legacy at 135.
I believe Teo beats everyone at 135.

Anyway, all belts are crap. If they worked legitly, Lopez is disputed by two champions (Davis and Haney) or he isn't even a champ for the WBC. Haney is the one who has to defend it. That's in a perfect world. The division has three champions now according to these meaningless orgs.
Not to mention their other belts. Someone like Alvarado is another champion for the WBA. They don't even call him an interim anymore. He's referred to simply as the WBA champion.
I honestly don't wanna talk about them. Burn them all.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 01-15-2021, 12:15 AM.

I know clearly who the REAL champion at 130 and 135 is: Gervonta Davis. I'm not confused at all. All these orgs can screw themselves. I know who the champ of each division is, and some have no clear champion, like welter and others. Nobody is separating themselves from the pack yet.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 01-15-2021, 12:27 AM.

Given that then, if Lopez likes belts, shouldn't he fight the best in his division, another champion at 135, Davis. Doesn't he have to defend that? Or is that like the protection belt, too? Is Lopez retiring?
Why rush to the Australian guy?
