- MY FAVORITE: Before the 12th round, my corner told me I was losing the fight, I didn’t think much about it. I did what I had to do, but, of course, he landed the punches in the 12th round... but If Lopez says he can win me 100 times straight he should prove it, rematch.
This last one is transferable for the next 99 times, LOL.

This is similar to Mayweather-Pacquiao post-fight when Pacquiao wouldn't give the victor his props and instead claimed a pre-existing shoulder injury as a major factor for the loss. Or Donaire after being schooled by Rigo. Or Wilder after he became Fury's disciple.

At least Callum Smith admitted that even if his arm wasn't damaged early in the fight against Canelo, the outcome wouldn't have been different.

Loma waited too long and basically gave the fight away. Lopez won the 12th because he was fresh and not challenged for the 6 rounds. I doubt Lopez would have been able to fight in the 12th with that much energy if he had to fight harder, earlier on. The bottom line is Loma didnt do enough (anything really) for the first 6 rounds. He should stop making excuses, it's on him.
