Can’t knock Smith’s toughness though.

He basically came there to survive. Sold his belts and looked like he was happy surviving. I honestly don’t class that as toughness, considering he came from a boxing family. He was bigger, and meant to be stronger, had height and weight advantages.... Toughness? I would question that.

Great performance by Canelo but damn Smith is tough. He could take punishment. I mean that's not good, but he went out there 12 rounds taking power shots and still fought back as well as he could. He will not lose fans for this performance, he just lost to a future Hall of Famer.
