He's entering his second prime, he's unstoppable.

I would like to see Martinez v Sturm as he is already back. Once ODLH unretires himself then Marravilla v Golden Boy would be a good matchup too. ODLH v GGG would be suicide.

GGG would've murdered him then , he'd massacre him now

I've seen both fights on live streams. No, if I remember correctly, he got a TKO in the first fight, which came after he stepped up the pace a bit to enforce a stoppage. I would say he looked better in his first fight.

In his last fight he looked old and slow. Decent, but that is relative to the opposition he has faced. He has so far boxed two boxers that in their prime were Spanish national and European B-level.

Koivula is a natural welter, aged 36 now, who lost to Conor Benn on TKO in his last fight. He was game and gave Martinez some tight rounds, but when Benn did better against Koivula, as a welter, you get the picture.

At best Martinez should box exhibition fights, with a bit of showboating. Similar to ex tennis professionals well over their prime.

Yeah I’m all for Martinez fighting a certain level of opposition as long as he is able to do it. I just don’t wanna see him in with killers.

If he does end up trying to step it up then I hope the people around him are quick to pull him out if he’s in over his head. Nothing left to prove at this point

I didnt see much of the last fight, watched all this fight tho,he didnt look too mobile, kinda flat footed for the most part,i dont think he's confident about pushing off on his previously injured knee which had a wrap around it,stil had kinda fast hands but didnt really go for it untill the 7th round onwards, the guy he fought got k.o.d in the 2nd round down at 147lbs in his last fight so even at 45 ud hav expected Sergio to look strong but he didnt, could just be rusty, having said that i reckon he won every round.

Where as I'm glad to see Martinez back and in good spirits/winning some fights I hope he does not get injured again or in need off surgeries like before he first retired...

all the best anyway to him and stay safe..
