Monzon99: if Danny was paid to dive for Spence, was Brook paid to dive for Crawford?

    Serious question.

Okay... you always put an incredible amount of weight on odds and stuff that people/books get wrong all the time... but don't go giving Monzon99 a platform for his conspiracy shit. My goodness..

apparently in rehearsal crawford was supposed to drop brook with a 1-2 but they mistimed it and brook went down at the wrong moment thus exposing the shamockery of it all

My sense is Garcia will play soft and lose the decision for the payday.

No I don't believe Brook tanked the fight to Bud, Bud is the best and he knows it and he fears losing to no one. He has pushed for spence but spence and haymon are running away. There's a reason all the top pbc welters have dodged Bud, they KNOW he's the best. Porter and Haymon do not not deserve a favor from Arum and Bud. Porter can get his shot AFTER spence fights Bud.

So... let me get this straight.

Danny will play soft for the payday and you somehow know this without even seeing the fight happen.

But you watched tentative Brook throw a small number of jabs before essentially quitting from a jab...

And you're saying with a straight face that you don't believe Brook "played soft for the payday"?

Even with Tessitore yelling "take your $2 million and go back to Sheffield!!"?

... We all don't know how Spence will come out post-accident...
... anyway, Danny doesn't have the skills to beat the "old" Spence.. this much I know...

But that's not about Spence. He's saying Swift will soft ball with no evidence from any previous fight.

Brook has ALWAYS tried. Always. All of a sudden after winning rounds, he goes down from a jab, and like Porter pointed out, showed absolutely no desire to fight back or win. From a jab. A guy who willingly went to war with Gennadiy Golovkin.

Sure sounds like Brook "played for the payday" to me, and Tessitore confirmed it.

Now, once we all accept what we saw from Brook, we can then compare Danny's performance.

Because I believe this will be a war that Danny will lose despite his best efforts to win. Unlike what Brook did.

... it wasn't a jab... it was a left cross which Brook never saw coming...
