He’s exciting to watch, has a great story and levels above Benevidez in the boxing department. Benevidez is a good fighter. A really good fighter but relies far too much on power while leaving himself wide open to elite counterers all day long. That’s why I feel Plant and Canelo dice him up.

I'm just saying it looked like a child trashing anything his little hero isn't connected with. But as soon as the little hero leaves what he once was connected to, the child starts to trash that as well.
But that wasn't you though was it?
That’s the end of your lesson

Cruz was a Featherweight that had no place moving up again after doing so already in the past. He was a sacrificial lamb for Davis to look good against. They could have went for a fighter who is more in that weight range in Russell, but they don't want anyone to beat Davis. They played it predictable and safe to guarantee the Davis win.
Danny hasn't beaten anyone since Khan years ago at 140. He isn't world class any more. He's a fringe guy who is decent at best. He's done absolutely nothing at 147 other than beat bums.
The Rosario fight happened only because he wasn't locked into Haymon's contract. So unlike before in getting the 154 division unified, he then set up that fight with Charlo in a way he wasn't willing to do before with his other fighters when they had the titles.
All smoke and mirrors. Like it always is.
The Rosario fight happened because that is what Haymon does.
He first gets his fighters into positions for the belts, and when they have all the belts (IBF, WBA, and WBC), he gets them to unfiy the titles.
That's what he is doing at welterweight, which is why we got all the big fights and unifications (Porter v Spence, Pac v Thurman, Danny Garcia v Thurman and Porter, ect).
Before Rosario, the plan was for Hurd and Charlo to unify, hut Hurd lost to Julian Williams and Charlo was robbed againsy Harrison, so the plan changed to the winner of the rematch between Charlo and Harrison would unify with Juliian Williams, but Williams lost to Rosario, so it became that Rosario and Charlo would unify.
Right now Haymon has got Castano in a mandatory position to fight Texeira for the WBO.
Obviously he plans for Castano to win, then he can havae Castano and Charlo unify for undisputed status.
Notice that similarly he has Porter as mandatory to Crawford, and Porter hasn't been calling out Spence for a rematch as much as he used to since he got that mandatory spot but has been calling out Crawford more.
The plan is the same as the one that at 154.
He will have the winner of Spence vs Garcia unify with Pacquiao and have the WBO call the mandatory for Porter to fight Crawford, with the view that Porter beats Crawford and unifies for undisputed with the winner of Pac vs Garcia/Spence.
Haymon has been following this patten for years. You can't pretend not to see it.
Even at 160lbs they had Derevyanchenko try to get one of the other belts so that they can have unification with Charlo.
Unfortunately he lost a close one to Jacobs and got robbed against GGG, but he conducted himself so well in those fights they thought they would have the fight anway.
Lol, Haymon has a plan and it works, and its eating you up inside.

You had people saying Jermall has never been tested and was gonna get exposed and people saying Banana is bigger, more skilled, and punches harder than Jermell.
But now all of a sudden there was a clear favorite after the fact?
Get out of here!!!
Lol, how is there a clear favorite in the Garcia vs Spence fight with Spence coming out of a tough fight against Porter and then proceeding to get in a violent car crash that had him knocked out and losing all of his teeth?
