Spence is the one who says he has to deal with all the PBC fighters first. Crawford is the one who seems more willing to fight.

Sounds more like someone saying Crawford is more than welcome to come join the PBC party. Bud is a man on an island and everyone knows it. Failure to acknowledge this exposes ya as a diehard fanboy, IMO.

I'm a fan of seeing the best fight the best. I don't get the fans who want to see either Top Rank or PBC or DAZN fail. I don't care where the fighters are, make deals so meaningful fights happen.

Teofimo and Loma are at Top Rank/ESPN, Haney and Garcia are at DAZN, Tank is at PBC/Fox/Showtime. Should Tank go to Top Rank or DAZN because they have more options at 135.

The way people like you talk, it sounds like different promoters/networks should monopolize divisions. Top Rank gets Lightweight, PBC gets Middeweight, DAZN gets Heavyweight, but that's not how it'll ever be. There's always going to be fighters spread out and the deals need to be made.

I wasn’t saying how I wish it was. I was pointing out where I believe Spence was coming from.

Agree that monopolies are bad and that the best should fight the best. However, if Crawford wants to establish himself as one of the goats then he must not renew his contract with Top Rank. He’s gotta sign up with PBC and knock a few of those guys out.

Bob Arum has no problem waiting out the enemy on a potential deal. He’s one of the reasons Pac Mayweather came way too late. Very stubborn guy.

Fans shouldn't be calling fighters 'cowards' like some do, but reality is that too many fans say 'give them a pass for not facing the best, not their fault different side of the street' etc. and as a result we have so many fighters keeping their 0 safe and taking one weak fight after another.

It's getting to a point where there are more 'smoke and mirrors' careers than legit ones. The way so many fans have been OK with Spence and Crawford not fighting is a big part of why it hasn't happened, too many fans wanna defend 'their guy' rather than just see the best fight each other. Spence is in his 30s, can he maybe fight the best in the division once in his career or still young doe? Crawford is 33, as a fan I want him to get a great win before it's too late

We also had unbeaten champs in Brook and Thurman many years ago. And that fight never happened as well.

This is annoying. They want to fight each other. They're not afraid. There are other issues in the way. Let's just hope it happens soon.
... Well -- who is accusing Bud of ducking Spence???

It's not the Boxers it's the promoters. This whole sport at the top end has turned into a massive game of promoter wars. Big fights been getting delayed or blocked all over the place cuz promoters know they lose at the contract table and straight up REFUSE to allow another one to reap the rewards from promoting the fight on a rival network. FKK the sport this is all business these days.
