Are we about to see greatness from Loma now?

After this loss, is Loma going to now display a level we have not seen from him yet?

A loss like this can actually make him a greater fighter.

I wanted Lopez to win but didn’t think he could. Like I’ve said in previous posts, I think Lopez winning is better for the popularity of the sport and even more, as an example to the young guys to just go for the big names sooner than later.

But Loma now has a target on his back and will be in the fight of his life at every weight class.
Will he level up and let the world know who he is?

I never make threads. I just ask that we keep it positive. Thanks.

I guess now we’re also gonna wait for a “new level” of power from wilder too.

I noticed the last thing you said is to keep it positive and the first post on here was a smart@$$ comment so I'll be positive about it or try my best anyway.

Lomo has aged his body dramatically with all the fighting in the amateurs. He isn't old but in boxing years and mileage he may have a couple more really good performances but he has already peaked IMO. He could prove me wrong but I dont think so.

Bro I’m not a Loma fan. I’ve rooted against him in almost every fight. It’s a just a debate question. Do you think he will actually step his game up now and live up to the hype? I was trying to be neutral so Loma fans don’t attack me but instead you judge the question incorrectly.

Thanks for answering the question like an adult. I happen to agree with you. I think there are a few things to consider in addition to his boxing mileage.

I was listening to Robert Garcia and he pretty much said the Lomas camp needs to have Loma train like a fighter instead of all that “juggling ****.” He even suggested that he has sparring partners that come in to just get beat up instead of helping Loma develop further.

I mean, what else can he really do? Teofimo was the better fighter and he won fair. Loma can rewatch the fight and maybe correct a few mistakes he thinks he made and that's about it. I don't think Loma is going to go on some amazing KO streak just because he lost to a good fighter. Sometimes it just happens and you just need to move on and fix what went wrong.
