I agree. Loma was very defensive for the first 4 rounds, but it wasn't as if Lopez was doing anything but throwing thin air and getting blocked.
The second half of the fight Loma clearly stepped on the gas and landed some clean, hard shots. He outboxed, outmanoeuvred Lopez.

He landed more punches overall, and I gave him the fight 7 rounds to 5. Some of those early rounds Lopez didn't do that much either. He just walked Loma down, but Loma was too good on his feet, so if nobody lands do you score for effective aggression or defence?

The wide scores for Lopez were ridiculous. did anyone see Lopez's face after the fight?

Lopez will at least end up as a welter. In some of those pics Loma looks like a little boy next to him. I saw one uppercut to the body where Teo lifted Loma right up in the air.
Obviously Loma was very cautious of getting stopped, and he nearly did in the last round.
But, when he was active he made Teo look clumsy and confused and was landing at will. Look at the compubox stats, you can see Loma 's accuracy is on a completely different level.
Still after all that, Teo earned the win and proved himself. Rematch would be pointless but only because of Teo's superior physicality. Like I said he will end up at least a welter or middle while Loma is obviously a feather. To ignore that is bs.

Exactly, look at the compubox numbers, Teo's accuracy was terrible because Loma was making him miss. He slipped or blocked a lot of punches.

It shouldn't take being Russian to give a different outcome of this fight. Black, white, American, Chinese, whatever Loma loss that fight. If he had been more active the outcome would have been closer but Loma gave away the first seven rounds.

It wasn't like those first 4-5 rounds were obvious. They were difficult to score, so it's obvious the judges were lazy and just decided to give the rounds to the guy that was pressing forward.
Lopez didn't win that fight, and his body language was telling immediately after.
Loma landed the more cleaner punches overall, and that's what counts the most, not just swinging and missing.

I had the exact same score. 115-113. Lopez.

I gave lopez 6 out of the first 7 rounds. Then loma 4 out of the last 5 rounds.

Yea 115 113 sounds right but the fix was in to rob Loma lets say he won round 12 than it would be a 6 to 6 fight with them ridiculous scores that would have never happened he still would have lost by a large margin

No, truly, the first 4 rounds were the absolute easiest to score. In fact, the first 6 rounds were the easiest to score in the entire fight.

I don't do keyboard wars anymore...submitting facts to counter some idiot on a forum, sending links, arguing the validity of a source, angles of interpretation.
