    Fury and Wilder is off

    #2
Just read it. Perfectly reasonable by Fury - he never needed this fight.

You don't get to enforce a rematch and then drag it out over money.

And that's him done as a player. Quite sad really, when you think what could have been.

It's obvious team Wilder don't want none of it and are just trying to keep his name relevant

      Good

      Move on.

There is something really weird going on. The fight was supposed to be in July or August? It got pushed to December. Lately we hear Wilder has not even been training since getting surgery. When was this surgery? If he is still getting physio like he is claiming there is no way he can fight in December regardless. The Wilder camp is acting really strange. Breland fired, then denied and now fired again. The Wilder people are off kilter.

          Excellent news.

Homecoming fight for the Gypsy King in the UK, and then unification against AJ early next year.

          Wilder is DONE!

Wilder got chance to avenge first fight loss and got koed in 7 rounds. No need for triology when someone won both fights

Probably some dumb mind game attempt thinking keeping fury out of the ring over a year he might start drinking again, who knows what goes through their pea brains.

Interesting development, though boxing needs less and less such contracts holding back the sport.

In reality, they already had 2 fights, so there has already been one rematch. Now any fight with Wilder in it is exciting, so I would look forward to a 3rd fight down the track, but COVID has screwed so much economically in Boxing, that a lot will be changing for the next couple years at the least.

Hopefully more and more boxers are willing to take paycuts and fight - but i do feel many "A side" boxers may not fight, as they lose so much of their home advantage when it's a TV Studio style fight.

They know if they take the rubber match it’ll just be the nail in the coffin in terms of being a key player in the division.

Wilder has a massive self belief (almost delusional) about being this all time great amazing boxer.
And don’t get me wrong, he’s got decent speed, and great physical attributes, and a killer right hand.

But if he gets stomped, he will start to doubt himself, and I think that’ll be a massive impact to him as a fighter.
Obviously everyone can lose, but I think this loss would change his mindset and he would deteriorate.
Could be wrong, but that’s my thoughts on why they’d wisely avoid this fight for now.

I think go back to the drawing board, get some wins and get the confidence back, and revisit the fury fight in the future.

I still think he’s the top guys in the division (if he fights like he did pre fury 2)
And he can be a tough fight for any of these fighters.

That was due to COVID-19 but Wilder didn’t mention anything about the rematch or scheduling it all this time . I told everyone the rematch was going to expire if Wilder was not fighting this year and here we are .

Wilder obviously didn’t want the fight ,a torn bicep doesn’t take a year to heal if that’s even real which I doubt . Wilder should be right on cue now and claim Fury ducked . Ha
