Comments Thread For: Roy Jones Jr: "I Made A Mistake" Agreeing To Fight Mike Tyson

Roy Jones Jr. is having some second thoughts ahead of his Nov. 28 exhibition match against Mike Tyson on Triller pay per view. Weeks after Jones Jr. was angered over the delay of the fight and threatening withdrawal if he wasn't compensated properly, the 51-year-old appears to again be game for the choreographed encounter.

Excuses galore, yet Roy had no excuses when he wanted to fight a depleted Mike back in the day. Roy wanted that retirement check and the opportunity for false glory by tapping a slowed stationary Mike from all angles. Now they’re both depleted, so here comes the excuses.

He trying to angle for more $ it sounds like to me. RJJ isn't a "oopsy made a boo boo" in signing a fight type of mfer even if he was 92 yrs old.

          Roy's just selling a fight

Obviously he's not scared to take a nap, that's been hella proven by now.

Yup. Just pre-fight hype talk. This fight is so meaningless.

I mean, all it can really do is put some $$$ in everyone whose apart of this circus, pockets. This will never be a true estimate of both of them in their prime facing each other. Not to mention, they're not even suppose to judge this fight, wtf is the purpose then? You're literally going to get that computer simulation in the Rocky movie with actual bodies, lol.

Or would you consider this something like Ali-Marciano?

                    People still believing this shyt?

Tyson in 03 would have iced Jones.

Tyson lost to Danny Williams and Mcbride because they were fkking huge.
