I find it laughable that Josh Taylor fans are trying to find some hope in this excellent performance. You guys know 'Tart-Tomato' cant box this nice, Jose Ramirez put on a masterclass! Judge Steve Weisfeld had it right, 116-112 was on the money ; 8-4 if you are being generous to Viktor Postol.

At 76 years of age, Dave Moretti who had it a draw, makes senior citizens look bad -- he also has eye problems, this man should never judge another fight.

I know there will be some haters, thinking that they can manipulate clips to make Viktor Postol look dominant, but I challenge any of you to post blow for blow video evidence that shows Postol landing more clean punches and causing Ramirez to loose his balance, staggered and confused.

Josh Taylor, is getting those belts took.
Jose is getting way too much hate. I had him down early but after the 6th when Garcia got on his ass, he turned it up and Postol, who was not landing a lot to begin with, started fading even more. What made Postol look good was the basic one two. It looked great, but was far and few in between. But when it did land, it simply looked very very good. But other than that, what exactly did Postol do? Ramirez caught him with so many inside short left hooks, many were just over looked. What happened is, people expected him to look like he did when he beat Hooker. Happens all the time in boxing. People think it’s round 13 from the previous fight expecting the same type of performance. I had Ramirez coming back and winning close but no way did Postol win.

I agree with you it was a close fight Postol won rounds for sure I gave him 5 and would of been ok with 6 but the difference was punch output Postol didn't throw enough yeah he had a great jab but it was more of just a patting jab to keep range people forget Ramirez showed a good jab too and everytime it landed it rocked Postols head back like a straight left. Jose also did a lot of body work people like to leave those things out in close fights like they don't count. I think 3 training camps with as much strength and conditioning as he does without an actual fight took a toll along with a long layoff after a great performance but that's no excuse Postol had the same amount of training camps too so it was fair game.

More punches landed at a bigger percentage and he was the unified champion not really much more to say was it a lackluster performance most definitely I still have the fight 50-50 with Taylor because styles make fights and Taylor is not going to be on the backfoot as much as Viktor but people forget Taylor didn't look impressive against Postol either and he also had a very close fight with Prograis which could have gone either way. If Postol was more active he could have very well gotten the nod but you have to take the belt from the champion and he didn't do that he boxed nice and showed resilience but he got hurt a lot in the fight and I only saw Ramirez slightly stunned once.

The bold. I also had fanatical expectations for Ramirez vs. Postol, that in hindsight seem to be overdemanding : when Jose's long layoff ( due to a hand injury) and the COVID global pandemic ; with the fact that Viktor Postol has never been KO, are taken into consideration.

Tim Bradley was Wild 'N Out on the mic, it seems that him and Dre take turns being over-dramatic fight by fight, for entertainment purposes on the ESPN streams. Pay attention to that, its funny.
