Cool story but we all know why Wilder ducked all these heavy handed fighters. Whyte took a big risk when he could of done a Wilder and just go hiding.

Would he? He has had ample opportunity to prove that and decided to "freeze" Whyte out instead. Whyte would of been a good victim on Wilders pissy resume and he would of got respect for it. But he didn't, he ran away and went chasing old men and feather fists instead.

Wilder did, and he also ducked Povetkin and Joshua. Oh and Wlad, and Vitali.

If only beyonce wilder would follow suit and let go so we can all get the fight everyone wants to see.

Canelo is ducking Sadam Ali. That’s the only reason they’ve never fought. It has nothing to do with Ali losing to everyone by knockout or anything like that.

His mandatory will reappear because he was an interim champion.

                    Hooray WBC.

Someone said earlier that this loss may open more doors for a title (if he's willing to take them) at a reduced rate but he'd be down as the Can, the cherry pick for the top fighters to prolong the records..

                    He's nothing to lose now..

Oh it's you again! Have you gotten over those Andre Ward low blows yet or have you accepted the fact that your guy just quit?

In nny case, what you've just stating is factually incorrect. Here are the facts; Whyte felt needed more time against Breazeale; He couldn't fight Dominic Breazeale on short notice. Bermane Stiverne was the mandatory challenger at the time and Whyte was the number 1 contender while Breazeale was the number 2 contender.

Eddie Hearn tried to set up a title eliminator bout with Whyte and Breazeale for the winner of Wilder/Ortiz but Whyte fought Robert Helenius instead and Breazeale ended up defeating John Molina for the mandatory challenger.

In April 2018 the WBC ordered Dillian Whyte vs. Luis Ortiz in a title eliminator bout but Whyte felt that he should have fought Dominic Breazeale for the Final eliminator by turning it down and also in that same year the IBF ordered Whyte vs Kubrat Pulev for their Final eliminator which he also turned down.
