Magically Fury will now fight Povetkin if it comes to it. Funny huh? Because he wanted no part of Whyte before this fight. But that's why you have to win the fight in the ring, not by talking.

Hearns said Povetkin has no legal right to a fight with Fury. It's not a done deal. There is a rematch clause so Whyte will fight Povetkin again before any fight with Fury.

"The Gypsy King" Tyson Fury, in a dull affair. We are still to find out how much of a come-forward destroyer Tyson is going to be from here-in for the rest of his career. My head says Fury 12-0 UD, but if Wilder II was just a preview of the new and improved Gypsy King, then we could start seeing him destroying these contenders.

Wilder gets KO'ed like Whyte (no experience)
          ORtiz (too old, gets KOed)
Ruiz (Fatty would get schooled, no discipline)
AJ (would go down the same way as before.. Povetkin troubles AJ... but then AJ lands)

Hunter gave Povetkin issues because he was small and quick, and started off REALLY strong, even still, Povetkin knocked him down (which was not called).

Usyk would be doable... would be an awesome, enjoyable fight... and that would go to a decision,

The guy is shot to bits and losses to them all.
Wilder would likely end the mans life if he could be relied on to pass a drug test.
AJ - Already destroyed a better version of Povetkin.
You really think for one second he's standing in front of Ruiz and not getting lit up? Ruiz is too strong, fresh, fast and is a much better inside fighter.
          Usyk would school him
Hunter is only going to improve on the first fight which he won and got shafted in just so they could try milk Povetkin some more for his name value.
Ortiz too old? He's the same age as Povetkin yet appears much fresher if we're not bias about it.
Fury needs no explanation we all know what he'd do to Povetkin even in his prime let alone now

The guy is shot to bits, has virtually zero explosiveness left. His legs have totally gone to the point he looks like a disorientated drunk. His punch resistance has also long gone. Everytime he gets cuffed he's all over the shop.

He isn't beating any top HW spamming some telegraphed overhand right, left hook combination like a little kid on a video game.

When you say "wanted no part", what you really mean is, he has bigger fish to fry, right?

Or do you live in some alternate universe where this isn't the case?

In the world the rest of us live in, Fury is trying to unify the titles.

Once Fury is on top he ain't letting him off the hook that easily...

If Povetkin is smart, he should go that way:

                1. rematch Whyte for even more money
                2. win or lose, than go to Haymon and demand Ruiz jr.
                3. rematch Ruiz ( if Povetkin wins first fight) or rematch Hunter

                And retire full of cash.

Fury wide decision or late KO. Not a good match up for Povetkin.

That said between Povetkin having AJ hurt momentarily & straight sleeping Whyte I think he is a live dog or favorite vs most others at HW doe.

It would be void anyway, Povetkin cannot legally fight Fury until August 22 in 2021 unless Fury pursued it if he’s holding the belt still . The rematch with Whyte by a binding contract would take place way before that so talks of rights do t mean much now that Povetkin has reset the entire Mandatory dates by winning Whytes status.
