Can't argue with that. There were things to like, but still very raw and was trying too hard for the knockout. Would like to see him in a competitive fight. People make too much from uncompetitive ones.
Many areas he can improve but the fight was only not competitive in the end because he caught him with a shot he never recovered from and he jumped on him early and it paid off.
Look forward to seeing him again, made a fan out of me tonight.
I am not going to cast a vote, because I honestly think? It would be terrible is Dillian Whyte loses etc
But I have charted out a scenario where Povetkin wins. Dillian Whyte can be a crude fighter 'Povetkin has the punching technique to capitalize on that crudeness' I like fighters who can come down the middle fast, with straight punchers or throw short hooks.
I actually think as the fight progresses Povetkin may start coming into his own 'Whyte is a big unit, but is that muscle mass functional?'.
