Does anyone disagree? Khan is a massive star in Pakistan, many parts of the ****** world, and very well-known in the UK, he is a crossover star. He also has accomplished more than Thurman in Boxing. Olympic Silver medallist, 5 defences of a World title in the pros, unified the WBA Super and IBF, fought for titles at 3 weight classes. You could walk down the street in the US and nobody would know who "Keith Thurman" is. Anyone who would try to argue Thurman is a bigger name/fighter than Khan doesn't know what they're talking about.

That's actually a good point. The only thing though is Thurman has a pretty good record of viewership on Network TV and the Pac fight (though he was the B-Side) did better than anything Crawford has done on PPV. So that without question will be on the negotiation table when it concerns who brings what to the table. I think more than each fighter's "fans" it's more about the match up which compared to a Kell Brook (for Crawford) would have fans much more intrigued. If this fight were to be taken seriously though I feel both sides have to realize it wouldn't be a normal outing considering there'll be no fans.
