Comments Thread For: Kingsely Ibeh Tests Positive For COVID, Guido Vianello Bout Off

The Bubble has been denied its historic moment. A planned heavyweight clash between Italy's Guido Vianello and Phoenix-based Kingsley Ibeh has been pulled from the July 21 edition of Top Rank Boxing on ESPN at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. The bout fell through on Monday after Ibeh tested positive for COVID-19.

The Bubble needs to be scrubbed from top to bottom, it seems that every week a fight gets called off because someone has covid

Just put Guido Vianello in with Jared Anderson and stop the damn gravy train setup fights! We've had enough gravy train fights to last a lifetime.

They both only have 11 combine fights wouldn't make sense to do that. Like every 15-20 fights are designed for prospects to win. And why other contenders don't want to fight each that's a bigger problem.

              Another bad news, Damn!

Fuck! This fight was one I was looking forward in these series. Noo!... Hope they match up them again. Kingsely Ibeh is going to get 100% healthy.

No, it would make a hell of a lot of sense to put two unbeaten heavyweights together when too many fighters are either not in the bubble or are testing positive or false positives which leaves too little to chose from. And to make matters worse, then they have to bring in some 4-5 record fighter on a week notice. Both Giovani and Anderson have fought recently and wouldnt lay down from the first punch landed, unlike the GARBAGE Giovano and Anderson have been fighting. We dont need anymore setups, period.
