He's clearly not been stable at any point so I'd Carry on counting him out, whether rules stipulate you have to start count again I don't know but whichever way, the fights ended because I'd have waved it off and told the boxer to stay down as clearly he's all over shop and you want his safety..

No, it was a good stoppage. Rahman could have been seriously hurt. He was in no condition to continue in that fight.

If I was Jack Reiss I would count "one mississippi... two mississippi... three mississippi..."

While kneeling down and offering both of my hands to help pull Rahman safely back to his feet.

The ref should pick up and continue the count from when the fighter got up which was on the 8 count. If you watch the video of the fight Cortez did exactly that. He shouted 9 when Rhaman fell again, and then just waved it off.

The ref will start a count on a downed fighter. If the fighter stands and falls again, with out being punched, the ref shall pick up the count from where he left off...….Rockin'

Take your states USA boxing test and jump in the mix. The test can be hard though. I had fun reffing the ams, good people in Detroit boxing. Refs, coaches and fighters. It's a good time...……….Rockin'
