Perhaps the only completely safe method is forcing ourselves to single picks before each fight rather than posting all picks at once at the beginning of the week (as I, and several others here do).

it's one of those isn't it? Far as I can tell all the most active players are really in it for the fun / bragging rights.. ain't seen any real influx of players since the prizes came on line, but like you say you never do know.

Done my best to eliminate loopholes but then there's just little things like this one come up now and then that you just don't think of til they happen.

Yeah I don't think anyone's cheating, but I prefer to address any issues that could lead to uncertainty or accusations before they become a problem. I like an easy life and prevention's generally easier than dealing with the crap too late.

Edits leave a timestamp on the post so when all the fights are roughly simultaneous it ain't problem, but when we got days between em (as we have the last few weeks) edits open up the potential for a problem.

I think the way to do it is simply to make bring a rule into place that all edits of picks after the first fight on a thread have to be made in the form of a new post as I've asked Roll to do here. Any picks that have an edit stamp later than the time and date of the fight will be disregarded and zero points awarded unless the player has some other proof of their picks (for instance a quote which predates the start of the fight).

I will aim to screenshot as well, but we tried that back in '18 when we first took over and it got kinda sporadic... (ie I kept forgetting ) so I'd prefer to set it up so I ain't relying on shots even when they might come in handy..

That's why I like to make my choices the day of so I avoid being able to second guess myself.
