I don't agree with the "fights from Floyd's career" part.

Now, if you want to say "unreasonable speculation about Floyd's career" (i.e. "Castillo beat him", "he cheated Ortiz", etc.), then yes. But just discussing how awesome of a fight him against Chicanito Hernandez was? Why?

But, I will say this...why even have a whole forum called "boxing history" if things from the past keep popping up everywhere else?

I think NSB should be strictly about active fighters and recent fights, say the last 3 years tops. Discussion in NSB concerning fights 4 or more years old should have relevance to something happening recently, now, or in the near future...or they should be relegated to the other forum we have expressly for fights and fighters in the past.

Just my opinion. And it would stop a load of the nonsense we see daily in NSB.

I don't think we need to complicate things. I thought you meant the useless baiting threads by the same deluded Pacfans who need to feel good about their hero. I voted for that.

But some quick, informative history about Floyd and Pacman (or their past fights) doesn't hurt, here and there. The flaming is the issue.

I feel the same about the Wilder, Joshua, Fury, GGG, Canelo threads. Most are useless and crowd the front page.

My main problem with Pac ''fans'' is they refuse to go into detail about their lord and savior. Constant blanket statements.

And they won't let a retired guy stay retired. As if the more threads they make, they greater Pac becomes.

I get your logic, but realize what that means.

It means any "Crawford is #1 P4P" or similar threads must also be removed, because that logic is based on fights over 4 years ago and thus no longer relevant.

No more "Fury is a PED cheat" threads. Over 4 years ago.

If we're going to say that (basically) NSB is about what fighters have done lately...Pacquiao is in the convo for beating Keef.
